I also add some general reasoning I have. I might post these with more detail in their own thread later but these can help you. I have done some testing with my level 16 character who saved 30 skill points. In the sewers I found vitality to be important so I put 30 in that. My guy I believe has 15 strengths and like 23 intelligence, agility, dexterity. They could hurt me but not terrible burst damage i.e. From that I conclude I need to build dexterity for more strike (chance to hit), and I need more strength for damage. I could rarely hit the ninjas with archery and they had huge hit points. I had to cheese the ninjas and boss by leading them away through the wilderness using stealth until I could split all the ninjas from the boss.

I'm only to level 15 and based on my trial to get monk class I am very weak. Depends what character you want to build. Look at tool tips.Ħ: for attributes the tooltip should tell you what it does. Put points in your special skills like ninjitsu or other diabolical skills.

Save points and save your game and test if more magic does more effects like damage or healing. Put enough points in magic skills to cast your highest level spells. Put enough points in to open chests and disarm traps. I would not put points in armor/shield skill. Save a great amount of points and save the game before you spend them. I would assume it doesn't matter what level they are so don't spend points on them (except parry).Ħ: this is too big a category. I would say don't pick them up (items you don't want) but there could be a chance they have enchantments (this is new to mmixx and steam version).ĥ: parry, armor, and shield have not passively gained for me. it helps that you can drop items that you don't want to carry like drop goblin daggers etc. Not sure I will put more in.ģ: hit C and one of the stats on your screen (if you've spent your level up attribute points) is your chance to parryĤ: no it seems manual. I only have it at 4 and it cost a lot of points. I haven't tested nether consumption.ġ: scout seems to do something on mini map for me. Someone on game banshee forum claimed that 'scribe' skill made it random if a scroll was consumed in casting and less likely the higher your scribe skill. Hope that makes what I was asking more precise.Ģ: it would be fitting if it was random consumption. Question 6 was just a min/max questions for optimization. Second question it seems random whether my katals are used or not I used Swarm over 20 times with only 1 katal for it before it was used were as the few times I have used say Summon Wolves it always seems to use the katal for that.įor number 5 what I mean is as you fight you gain xp for particular types of weapons and spells just by using them were as you don't gain any say leather armor xp for taking hits while wearing leather armor. On that note in my collectors edition of the game as some as you put a single point into the scout skill enemies and items will pop up on your mini map, in this version I have a character with scout level 4 and nothing pops up on the mini map or world map. I thank you for the replies but let me rephrase and add some examples for why I have thses questions.įirst off I played hundreds of hours of the collectors edition of this game when I was younger so I know the game mostly. If your playing anytime msg me im looking for some mutiplayer games I only got the CD copy so im not sure 100% what changes were made with the steam copy but im gonna buy it today and have a run at it.

theres no special way to sort items just sell them as you go. I think spotting items is a diffrent skill then scouting/item find. Katals are consumed when casting yes, your skills need to be level individually. Originally posted by 凸(╥_╥)凸:I think parry is just the chance that attacks miss.
